Joanne Hart
Executive Director – jhart@ltrf.org
Joanne Hart is the Executive Director for Loudoun Therapeutic Riding. She is a 1980 graduate of the Cheff Center for the Handicapped where she earned her Head Instructor certification for therapeutic riding. Prior to that she attended Colorado State University and earned a teaching certificate at the Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship. She is a NARHA certified instructor, the past president of the Therapeutic Riding Association of VA, currently serves on the BOD of the Virginia Horse Council, and has been actively involved with NARHA as past Regional Representative, and a member of the coordination committee for the annual conferences.
At home, Joanne has three boys, and is a breeder and a member of the American Connemara Pony society.
Kathy Blaine

Kathy Blaine is the Program Director for the Loudoun Therapeutic Riding Foundation. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Averrett College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Equine Studies. She is a NARHA Certified Instructor and has owned and shown horses for over 30 years. Kathy began teaching riding during college and continued as an instructor in the Richmond area after graduating in 1983. During that time she also showed event/dressage horses. After moving to Loudoun County in 1986 she worked as a Veterinary Technician at the Marion DuPont Equine Medical Center for several years before becoming an instructor with LTRF in 1993.
Kathy lives with her husband and two children in Purcellville, VA where she is active in church, school, and community organizations.
Debbie Gerbich
Assistant Program Director – dgerbich@ltrf.org
Debbie Gerbich is a graduate from Centenary College with a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Studies. After college she competed and evented through the intermediate level. She became a NARHA certified instructor in 2001. She is currently an instructor and Assistant Program Director with LTRF.
Debbie lives in The Plains Va. With her husband Jeff. She is active with church and the Upperville garden club.
